How to use the Snapchat Username Finder

    Try likely spellings: name.surname, name_surname, namesurname.

  2. See the result

    If a public profile exists you get the display name, photo and subscriber count.

  3. Open it

    Go straight to their stories, highlights and Spotlight videos.

Where to find someone’s Snapchat username

  • Their profile link: snapchat.com/add/username. People often post it in Instagram or TikTok bios.
  • Their Snapcode: scan it in the Snapchat app, or look for the link printed under it.
  • In the app: the username is the grey text under the display name on their profile.
  • Other social accounts: many creators use the same handle everywhere.

Username rules

Snapchat usernames are 3–15 characters, start with a letter, and may contain letters, numbers and one of . - _. They aren’t case-sensitive. A username can be changed once a year, so an old link may point to nobody.

Does “not found” mean the username is free?

Not necessarily. Most private accounts have no public page. Snapchat only tells you a username is taken when you try to register it.

Can I search by real name?

No. The web only has profiles by username. Search by name works inside the Snapchat app.
